Join the Carpenter Center at 7:30 pm EST for a presentation by artist and AFVS Visiting Faculty member Dannielle Bowman.  

Dannielle Bowman is a visual artist working primarily with photography. Bowman received a BFA from The Cooper Union and an MFA from the Yale School of Art. Bowman has been an artist in residence at Baxter St at the Camera Club of New York; the Center for Photography at Woodstock; PICTURE BERLIN; and Light Work. She was awarded the 2020 Aperture Portfolio Prize, a 2020 PHMuseum Women Photographers Grant, and the 2021 George Gund Foundation Photography Commission. Bowman has exhibited in the US and internationally. In the fall of 2021 her work will be featured in an exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Charles White Gallery. She lives and works in New York.
