In this performance, Harvard College Opera, which aims to make opera accessible to local and campus communities, will engage with artist and AFVS Visiting Lecturer Tomashi Jackson’s exhibition, Brown II, in an evening of music–making to hail our idols of liberty and social justice in classical music. This recital strives to underscore the contributions of artists of color to the world of classical music.

This live performance is part of Harvard Radcliffe Institute’s Brown II gallery series. The exhibition is on view until January 15, 2022. Visit the exhibition page to schedule your visit.

Hot chocolate will be provided to attendees.
