#  AFVS Workshop for Undergraduates - Freelancing in the Film Industry

 NICK NATALE, currently a Media Technician in AFVS, will offer a workshop for undergraduates giving a brief overview of what it's like to be a freelancer in the film industry. Topics discussed will include networking, invoicing and taxes, a brief overview of technical skills, and union vs non-union work. Additionally we will discuss other job opportunities available to those with a film and video background.

 Nick is a freelance location sound mixer and media artist in Greater Boston. He has worked with a variety of clients including Bon Jovi, Tom Brady, Michael Flatley, B&H Photo-Video, Comedy Central, and TB12, as well as recording studios and broadcasting companies.

 The workshop will take place via Zoom on Tuesday, March 23 from 3-4pm ET.
