The Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies presents a screening of **Ross McElwee’s** ***Remake*** **(2025, 116 min.)**.

For nearly forty years, McElwee has made closely observed and profoundly subjective documentaries exploring the intersection of his personal life with the world at large. In *Remake*, the death of his son leads him to reassess his approach to filmmaking and to his own life’s work.
