#  Congratulations to Kyle Parry, Film and Visual Studies program graduate

Congratulations to the first graduate of the PhD program in Film and Visual Studies, [Kyle Parry](http://cmp.gsas.harvard.edu/project/kyle-parry/)! In September Kyle began a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship sponsored by CLIR and the Mellon Foundation at the University of Rochester, where he is jointly affiliated with the [Visual and Cultural Studies](http://www.rochester.edu/college/vcs/) department and the digital scholarship initiatives of the library. In addition to pursuing his own written and practice-based research, he is producing an experimental event series, consulting on faculty digital projects, and, in the second year, teaching graduate courses.
