Graduate student Joana Pimenta's film, *The Figures Carved into the Knife by the Sap of the Banana Trees*, will show at the Toronto International Film Festival in September as part of the [Wavelengths Program](http://www.tiff.net/festivals/thefestival/programmes/wavelengths-all/pimenta-de-oliveira-abrantes-3/pimenta-de-oliveira-%20%20abrantes%20).
