AFVS Doctoral Candidate Carolyn Bailey's project receives grant from The Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts

Carolyn Bailey is a doctoral candidate at Harvard University, where her research is supported by a doctoral fellowship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). She is a lecturer in the Women's & Gender Studies Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Bailey holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from McGill University. Her work as a critic and scholar deals with contemporary visual culture, architecture, media theory, race and gender in visual art, and the histories of science and technology.
