#  Young Joo Lee and Sarah Jenkins awarded MacDowell Residencies

 AFVS Visiting Lecturer Young Joo Lee and Teaching Assistant Sarah Jenkins have been awarded MacDowell Residencies for the summer of 2021. They are two of 47 artists from 13 states and three countries representing seven artistic disciplines. These highly competitive residencies were originally scheduled for 2020 and rescheduled due to the COVID pandemic.  This Fall in AFVS, Young Joo Lee will be teaching AFVS 153AR: [Experimental Animation](/courses-list) and Sarah Jenkins will be assisting Ruth Lingford in teaching AFVS 53A: [Fundamentals of Animation](/courses-list) and [Animating Science](/courses-list).
