Alex Fleming is an artist, curator and writer. Exhibition projects include Park Mcarthur with Alex Fleming: An Exhibition at Yale Union (as artist), Susan Cianciolo: if God COMes to visit You, HOW will you know? at Bridget Donahue Gallery, Rafael Sanchez; Life of a Flower at Galerie Max Mayer, and Cutting the Stone at Miguel Abreu Gallery (all as curator.) Research interests include sound design, theories of anarchism and anti-art, performance documentation, and the social dimensions of authorship. He has been a visiting critic in the department of painting and printmaking at Yale University, a Helena Rubenstein Curatorial Fellow at The Whitney Independent Study Program, Researcher at the MIT List Center for Visual Art and Dramaturgue at Performance Space New York. He is a contributing writer for Texte Zur Kunst.
