AFVS End-of-Semester Exhibitions and Screenings

Please join the Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies in celebrating Open Studios on Friday, April 29, from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Open Studios will take place in the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts, located at 24 Quincy Street, as well as in Linden Street Studios, located at 8 Linden Street. Light refreshments will be provided. 

The Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies also warmly invites members of the community to attend the Art, Film, and Visual Studies Student Film and Video Screenings. The Art, Film, and Visual Studies Student Film and Video Screenings will take place in the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts from 1:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-10:00pm on Friday, April 29, as well as from 1:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-10:00pm on Sunday, May 1

In addition, the Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies with the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts are thrilled to present A Name for Our Reflections, the 2022 Art, Film, and Visual Studies Thesis Show, featuring work by Griffin Andres, Treasure Brooks, Caroline Coolidge, Caroline Elson, Ramona Park, Eva Rosenfeld, Eli Su, and Jonathan Yuan. A Name for Our Reflections will open in the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts from 5:00-8:00pm on Friday, April 29, and remain on view through Thursday, May 26, 2022
