Congratulations to Joana Pimenta, graduate student in Film and Visual Studies, and recent VES alum Renee Zhan ’16, whose films will show at the Locarno Film Festival in Locarno, Switzerland. Pimenta’s An Aviation Field and Zhan’s Hold Me (Ca Caw Ca Caw) are both part of the Pardi di domani section of the festival, which features forty short films. The festival runs from August 3-13.
