Theater

A full house for a Q&A in the CCVA main lecture hall

The 188-seat theater in the basement of the Carpenter Center accommodates DCP, 35mm, 16mm, Super 8 and all variety of video formats, and may be used for class screenings, lectures, and other uses arranged in advance. The theater is also home to the Harvard Film Archive, a division of the Harvard Library, which regularly screens an extraordinary diversity of films and invites filmmakers to discuss their work after screenings.
